Commodity Pork

Our commodity pork pigs are a cross between 3 breeds. They are Yorkshire, Landrace and Duroc, which results in a pig that is mainly white, with some pigs showing some red color. It takes approx. 7-8 months from birth, to bring these pigs up to 250 lbs live weight. We raise our Commodity pigs the old-fashioned way – on a multigrain based feed, which results in nicely marbled and very flavourful pork.
